You need only a tablespoon of lemon in a recipe?
Put a tooth pic through the lemon and squeeze out only what you need. You will be able to better preserve your lemon for another day, instead of cutting in two.
Need only one slice of lemon to add in a glass of water or other breverage?
Cut slices of lemons and freeze on a cookie sheet, then put in zippy bag or plastic container and back in the freezer. This way, you can only take a slice of lemon at a time~to add to a breverage or even just a glass of water.

Thank-you Ellise for tip. I have also froze grapes and peices of bananas on a cookie sheet to then put in a ziploc bag. It's great to be able to take just what you need instead of having a bunch of fruit frozen in a block.
