Sky I am so sorry. Who would have thought something like that would happen? My step-mother was widowed on May 12, it hasn't been long for you. You have been through so much with the ICU as well.
Don't worry about us, but we will miss you and hope you come back to us sometimes.
I wish you all the best with your grieving period, we are here if you want to say anything, to talk or to say hi.

Sky...my heart aches with you. Here are (I hope) some comforting words etc... Prayers and thoughts are with you. Loss can come upon us suddenly and overwhelm us with grief. Giving yourself time and space to heal, and being real with the Lord about your pain can help. Consider these sure words of comfort from Scripture ~~ God Is Our Hope God is our hope and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will we not fear, though the earth be moved, and though the hills be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof rage and swell, and though the mountains shake at the tempest of the same. There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18 Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each day. Dear Lord, Please help Sky in this time of loss and overwhelming grief. Please show her your compassion, Lord. Help her through the pain so that she will hope in You. I believe the promise in Your Word to send her fresh mercy each day. Though she may not see past today and her grief right now ~ But I trust Your great love and I know that You will never fail her. In Jesus name Amen.  |

I do not know you yet my heart goes out to you at this time. Allow yourself time to grieve, and when you can there will be time for life to catch up with you. No one can greive for you, noone can tell you when the time to move on is right, but God will be with you through every step of this journey.

There are no words to express the grief I am feeling. My most precious husband went home on June 21st after a lengthy illness. He was in ICU 3 weeks preceding his death. (Pnemounia). It just is not real to me yet and I miss him so much.
