I love Ikea's laundry ideas - they're affordable and flexible. Here are some pics from their new catalogue to scroll through: www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/categories/rooms/laundry/The first three, after you click next, are great. I love the sink hanging space in the red one, the configuration of the orange laundry, but I particularly like the third one, in neutrals.

We really found the bathroom two door cupboard in white with the bowl on top and matching mirror cabinet appealing.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if houses looked like that in real life; neat, functional and attractive. sigh.

The orange laundry has the door like mine with the shelves in the same space, only my shelves are like the top ones. In the left corner I have my hot water service. Ideally it would be outside.
I'll have to go down and see if I could put in a shelf like that. I know eventually would run into the corner possibly of the sink or maybe just miss it. Hmm.
That was the dead corner I was trying to figure out what to do with.

I hope you can find a solution, Br. Our hot water service thing was in the house when we bought it, but we moved it outside. In our case, the hws was so old it was unsafe anyway, so it had to be replaced.

Last night I had this thought that it would be great to put the laundry in a line in the bathroom and take the bathroom things to put in the laundry. The reason being that the bathroom is long and narrow, perfect for a flat-pak. Just a thought, but we are thinking about it before we dismiss the idea.

Sounds good to me. I can think of three new laundries I've seen in the last two years that are long and narrow. They seem to work very well.
