There were some shoe racks in a catalogue we received this week that looked appealing. We've tried a couple of different systems for shoe storage, but the floor seems to be the kids' preferred option!
For years when the kids were little we had a large basket near the back door, which helped to remind them to remove muddy shoes before coming in. Their shoes are too big for that now.
Ikea have a couple of great looking storage units that could go on the front verandah. I especially like one that looks as though it's sturdy enough to sit on while removing one's shoes.
What do you do about the shoe problem?
