I try to do this a couple of times a year. The cupboards get so cluttered with stuff that hasn't been worn for a couple of years but seems "too good to throw out", even though we never seem to clothes shop. Some of it is hand-me-downs from the kids, and my mother finds t-shirts for dh at the op shop. Anyhow, there are things that have escaped previous purges which are never worn/never should have been worn, that are going out this week.

Sounds good Violet. I still haven't done mine yet. My dh is wearing all sorts of weird stuff at the moment rather than just leaving it in his drawers. We may have to look at the things more closely.

I have taken dh's clothes, well started on it, out of his drawers in the chest of drawers. Really, I am not sure that he needs that many things. It is really confusing to sort out.

That sounds like fun, cupcake. Haven't tie-dyed in years, the kids used to love it. Eldest still uses the cushion we made from a t-shirt he did at school years ago.
It would be great if you could post some photos of your creations, cupcake.

I did end up going through dh's drawers. I put some clove pomanders in his drawers to help keep it fresh and made sure there was air going around the different piles. I think some more shirts should be thrown away like white shirts with worn collars and things like that.

I gave away a skirt set and a pair of trousers from my wardrobe. It seems difficult to decide on things. There are a few more things to decide on yet, but not too many.
