Calendar or diary?

Partly because dh gets a great free calendar every year, I use a calendar to keep life under control. A friend uses a large diary. She puts all the bills in there too, under the day they're due. I know my bills would end up being used as scribble paper by someone if I tried that!

Also, I need the calendar to be in sight, or it's out of mind! I wouldn't remember appointments or birthdays if I had to make a conscious effort to look at the calendar, but if it's there in front of me where I see it several times a day, then it all gets done.

I was thinking about starting a thread about calendars as well. I haven't been looking at mine as much. I think I need one with larger squares. Maybe I am just being silly. Or maybe I should wear my glasses more than just on the computer or reading.

I think there's a lot to be said in favor of really BIG squares, Br!
