I try to be organized and do the Christmas shopping early so that's it's not a big rush, but really every year I wonder why. It's not until now that all the cute gift packs and Christmas stuff appears. Also, there's a lot of stuff on sale at the moment. Then of course there's the buyer remorse thing - gosh, why did I buy that for so-and-so when there's a much nicer one available now.
Anyway, the last bits and pieces are about to be wrapped and another Christmas shopping expedition will be behind me.

I agree. I see all the things I am missing out on when the Target catalogues arrive. I didn't take much notice, but had a great time when I was there last, and didn't spend too much. It was a quieter shop to the one I usually go to.
Imagine dropping Target catalogues 1 1/2 hours from the shop, but it works!
Having said that, most of the time I don't watch TV. It is a totally different experience. When I watch TV I get a better idea what is going on with Christmas and shops.

I am surprised that the Target catalogue ventures so far. Although brochures are wasteful on many levels, I do like the Christmas junk mail.

We accidently got some things at the last minute and they were a great price. So got something decent which was good. It was perhaps a little old for dd9, she still needs toy things I think.

I think 9 is a tricky age, Br. Whatever you've bought that's a little too old now may be just right in 6 months. Good to hear you found some good buys!
