blessingsforlife.com/topindex/home/organizing.htmI found the above link (hope it hasn't been posted here before) and on one of the pages saw the following heading: "Decide what level of organization you really want" For me, everything in it's place and no clutter is the level I'd like, but for eldest ds, it means stuff scattered everywhere, but in a way that he can find things. Dd is a hunt-and-peck kind of person (ie, MESSY), whereas dh and younger ds have piles of stuff. They aren't spread-out messy, they just have their little pile of things that they leave all over the house. Of course the hard part when sharing a house with anyone is finding a level that's acceptable to everyone. Generally that means either the neat person must be very mean, or prepared to tidy everyone else's stuff, or standards have to be lowered. I've taken a middle ground - although it's not as neat as I like, it's not as messy as some of them would like, so we kind of muddle along that way. How do you decide what the level of tidiness in your homes is? Do you have designated messy areas, or like me, just not have too much stuff?

Don't worry if it has been posted before, I am sure it hasn't though. I spent my first month here plaguing the search button lol.
I like this quote:
"I made a mental list of every nook and cranny in this house that needs to be cleaned, decluttered or organized. I'm not getting overwhelmed though; I'm just making a list of areas that need help. Like the closets, the basement, my office files... you name it."
That is what I have been doing. I think I have also accepted this:
"You’re it kiddo".
My level of organisation would be the three listed. I have a mental blank, but I do know what I am after.
