We are very short on storage here, and I'm finding that dusting is no longer a particular favorite of mine, so I've been viewing collectibles with a different eye, trying to decide whether I really get enough enjoyment from an item to warrant the time spent maintaining it.
I suppose it's just a stage-of-life thing.

I can relate. I haven't got to the collectibles yet though.

I can relate too. I have given alot of things away and even put them in the trash Cause the workers there will sort trash and I am sure find alot of interesting things so I know they won't end up in a landfill. I sometimes cannot get a ride to the only thrift store style place so I only resort to putting them in the trash if I just cannot find a place to store it till later. Our house is just too small and no closets, or storage come with it.

It makes it hard when it is difficult to get to a charity bin or charity store. I had that problem for a long time. Now I am so glad that I can take things straight away.
