How do you organize your cassettes, dvd's, music cd's and software?
I am looking for an inexpensive and organized way to keep track of them.

I just bought those inexpensive wooden crate ones. Small enough to fit on my desk top. I have lots of CD's for the computer, so at each computer (one has Win 98 and the other XP) I just put the CD's that go with each. Music CD's have a separate holder and cassettes are kept in a unit Jack built for them.

I like how some of the newer bunks in the shops have them built into them for kids. I have inherited a CD shelf in my computer cupboard where you can close the doors on it sometimes!

We still use handtaped videos for the little girls. The DVDs are mostly borrowed from the library or an online movie place and they come in the mail. Cassettes, they have been taken to goodwill or the op-shop.

The few things I have are stored in the cabinet under the TV. For the kids, one has a slim cd cupboard with a door that dh was given. The other two, who have millions of cds, have the most often used ones in large zip-up wallets (6" x 10"?) and the less used ones are standing up in shoe boxes on their shelves. Not very stylish, but accessible.
