I feel so marvellous - I've spent the past hour or so hanging washing, tidying up, wiping down the bathrooms, giving the furniture a quick dust, sweeping, emptying trash cans/rubbish bins, and running the vacuum through the house. Well, the front of the house, the boys are still in bed so there are still 2 bedrooms and a hallway to do.
However, it's so nice to have it, the bulk of it, done in the morning. Used to be the housework was always done early, but since the eldest left school I found it getting later and later as I waited for him to get up and out. Well, no more, I'm back to my own schedule. I'm so much more productive in the morning.
While I've always preferred a morning tidy, a friend used to clean her house each night. She loved waking up to a clean house.
Anyone else have preferred cleaning time?

Things we much better when I did things in the morning too. It was the traditional thing to do I guess.
That is really fantastic violet, I feel happy for you, I can understand what it would mean.

I'm a morning person, too, Violet. My day just goes alot smoother if I get it done in the mornings.

I pick up all the clutter and put it away at night, Straighten everything and then go to bed. In the am then I am good to go. I can dust vac, sweep etc in the day and all the junk is in it's place.

Lol, Cara, "all the junk is in it's place" - that sums up what goes on here perfectly!
