Do you keep magazines, and if so how do you store them? I tend to read most of them and then pass them on to dd to read. If I have some that have good ideas I might want to try sometime in the future I tend to tear out the picture, directions and the article and file it. Takes less space than the entire magazine.
As for catalogs, I only keep the one I have until I receive the current one.

I'm like you Carolyn, only I donate my used ones to the elementary schools, doctors offices and womens shelter. I also save my newspapers for the Animal shelter.

Yes, I keep magazines. I store them in a dresser, I think it is called a Welsh dresser, only a modern one. It has shelves and one drawer and on legs. It was in the kitchen, but the blue coloring on the legs matched the blue in the wallpaper border in our room.
I used to tear out the pages and keep in a marbig on book with plastic pages you can insert with the magazine pages. I keep the magazine now, unless it is recipes.
I found I lost my attachment to them after our last shift and was able to get rid of some. The others I have been rereading and finding interest in things I had no interest in before because of the different environment I live in now. It saves money I'm sure.

I put them in a basket in the family room. Every so often I clean that basket out. I need to do it today, actually, because it's just about full!

I've lost my attachment to them even more and thinking of tackling them again.

Like Michelle, mine live in a basket in the living room. After a while, I'll go through them and tear out anything that still really interests me. Then the magazines go to the op shop, to a friend, or if they've had lots of pages torn out, in the recycling bin.
I do tend to keep the PC User mags for reference for much longer than any others. I don't buy so many magazines these days.
