your kitchen? Do you have plenty of storage, or have you got some items that are too tall/big/rarely used, that you keep elsewhere in the house?
I have very few appliances because there's nowhere to put them. The sandwich maker (which only one kid uses) lives on the very top shelf in the pantry. I risk knocking myself out every time I get it down, but there's just no other space! I find things like tall vases to be a problem too, but then my kitchen is small. Any creative storage ideas out there??

Things seemed to have improved since we got our old cupboard back. There are things on top of cupboards. I haven't bought any electrical goods.

I have a shelving unit in our basement where I keep appliances/serving pieces that we don't use on a regular basis. I'd like to get another freestanding pantry to put those items in or something similar. Maybe a kitchen island with storage underneath. We're lacking counter space too.

I saw a house with a dream kitchen island bench, Michelle - it had a granite top and nine big, deep drawers on the two long sides. You could have fit enough crockery and saucepans/frypans in there to do a big family, all laid out neatly and accessibly. Sigh.
