comes to mess? I almost hyperventilate if it's time to cook dinner and the dishwasher's still full, the benches are dirty and the sink and surrounds are filled with the kids' plates. Ditto when the ironing pile is taller than me - which is not very tall, but still!
I'm most relaxed if, each day, the floors are swept, at least one bathroom is clean (lucky they're small!) the rubbish is taken out, the washing basket is emptied and some ironing is done, the dishwasher's empty and dinner has at least been thought about. Oh, and the benches are wiped down. And the beds made!! If I can get that done, I can cope with most other things.

I am not keen on the rubbish one. If I have to step over it I get annoyed. I can't stand ironing piles, but we try to avoid clothes that need ironing etc. like the plague.
Our bed has to be made, I feel quite out of sorts when that is not done. Tea, yes, I feel better when I have chosen something from my meal plan and know where the recipe is.
Apart from that, I am probably easy. I like folded washing in the basket, not a jumble lol.
I am really big on a wiped sink, the draining part, and the sink I guess.

I think I have blinders on most of the time....but I do get my moments when I can't take the messes anymore

Very low, Violet. Messes stress me.....for me, I guess, I find a lot of peacefulness when my home is in order....LOL, maybe that is why I've been stressed lately!

I ditto Lynn. I am definitely an A personality when it comes to my home. I do not like clutter and everything in my home has a place and it must be in it's place....I hate getting up in the morning and finding that I have to do dishes or something else before I can start my day. And I don't like piles either. With one exception, in the computer room. I just close the door..

I realised I also like the benches and table wiped and the peelings etc. taken outside regularly.

I'm glad I'm not alone! A radio program today had a woman talk about forgiveness - she said forgiving someone is like coming home to a clean, tidy house. it's a terrific, uncluttered feeling!

Mine used to be very high, but since I got sick a couple years ago, my level has gone down conciderably. Not a good thing.

But Deed we have to do what works at the time - if you're busy getting well, then mess is a pretty low priority.

My level of stress increases with a messy house, but unfortunately my house is a mess most times... I also have very little energy and motivation to keep up with a very clean and tidy home.... I would love to be organized but I get distracted and start too many projects at the time...I'm working on it, though.

Me too, but I think mostly mine could be fixed with a bit more decluttering and keeping up with the floors, and retraining dds to do their craft on a table or something. I find online friends help alot.
