Or do you clean your house in stages, maybe floors one day, dusting the next?
Every Monday, I wash the floors. They're usually dirtier after the weekend, also as a kind of tribute to my friend Jan who died almost 6 years ago. She always did hers on Monday, so it reminds me of her to do the same.
I'd love to say I then go on to clean the entire house, but it seems to get done in stages these days. Like vacuuming the kids rooms - I tend to pounce on that chore when they're out of the house. I like cleaning best when it's just me at home, it's a sort of meditation for me, I find it relaxing to bring the house to order.
