Spring cleaning has begun at my house. Along with doing 37 million loads of laundry today.....I cleaned out the boys closets and chests....cannot believe the junk I found.... . Broken pencils, toothpicks, empty coke cans...rags that were t shirts in a previous life... . Anyway, I attacked the hall closet afterwards and then the pantry and my tupperware cabinet. Lordy what a mess! I threw out 3 huge trashbags full of junk. Where does it all come from?

Tammie, I couldn't stand the mess any longer. Mainly the disorganization. We were nearly late 2 mornings in a row last week because of misplaced items. Hence the decluttering and deep cleaning and regrouping. The biggest shock for me was seeing how many clothes the boys had outgrown or worn out. Taking up all that space. Some I was able to pass down to the next one, but mostly trashed as they were worn out. Boys are so rough on clothes and shoes.... Deed, For motivation and energy, I put on some really fast beating type Praise and Worship (had it so loud, I missed hearing a delivery at the back door by UPS ), switched on the fans and the central air and "went to town" on the place. It was hard work, but I like the end result. Next week, I want to shampoo the carpets in the areas I cleaned last week, start on my china cabinet project and continue working in my kitchen. I bought some Liquid Gold for the exterior of the cabinets and am looking forward to getting that done. I want to post some pics on the china cabinet. Will have to work on that later.
