Well, I finally made myself a special place to read and have quiet time. We have always had a rocker in our bedroom, but my legs are short and I was never comfortable in it. So today, I moved the rocker to "Grandma's room" (aka the guest room) and moved the "pink chair" into my corner. The pink chair is older than I am. One of those horribly scratchy 50's chairs with fringe trim - but with so many memories. I even have pictures of my sister, who is 11 years older than I am, holding me in that chair! I moved a little wicker table next to it, and put my CD player on it. My nightstand is on the other side, so I have light and all my books. I have a little foot stool, a throw and a shawl I made there as well. Now, if I could keep my kids out of the chair and from turning the CD player on and off!

I think I am getting a floor lamp from Freecycle which can go behind my chair! Yay!
