Just got an email from Borders about their new online store. I signed up for Border's emails ages ago and get regular offers and discount coupons. They have a great store near us.

It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but could appeal to some of the men around the place. I checked the ratings on Amazon, and over 1100 people gave it an average rating of 4 stars.

It is an expansion of Krakauer's 9,000-word article, "Death of an Innocent", which appeared in the January 1993 issue of Outside.[1] Krakauer intersperses McCandless's story with a discussion of the wilderness experiences of people such as John Muir and John Menlove Edwards, as well as some of his own adventures.
