A friend lent this to me and I found it very interesting. The book is a very detailed memoir, and what I found most fascinating were the cultural differences. I can now understand why many Somalian people find it so difficult to settle in Western countries.
This is not a frivolous book, and she does eventually walk away from the beliefs she was brought up with. It makes challenging reading.
