Topping:
1 cup cold milk 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 ounce box) 1 carton (8 ounce) cool whip, thawed green sprinkles
Prepare and bake the cake according to the package directions, using a greased 13 x 9 pan. Cool for 1 hour. In a small bowl, dissolve the jello in boiling water; stir in the cold water and set aside.
With a meat fork or wooden skewer, poke holes about 2 inches apart into cooled cake. Slowly pour jello over cake; refrigerate. In a bowl, whisk milk and pudding for 2 minutes; let stand for 2 minutes or until soft set. Fold in cool whip. Spread over cake. Decorate with sprinkles. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
