David Sedaris, an American living between Paris and London, wrote this book as a series of short essays. Well, I'd classify them as essays on life rather than stories because it's a memoir.

He is a born observer, and very funny. Not everyone's cup of tea, and I've not read it all, but so far I'm finding it hilarious, and very human.
