Hi there,
this is so true!
For sure I knew it wouldn't be easy but beautiful. It is beautiful and amazing but sometimes it is really extremely hard.
I'm very happy that I get a lot of support from my family but I'm having a hard time with a certain kind of mothers - the ones that always know everything better.
For example I never did breastfeed but formula fed my baby from the beginning on. There is a long history in our female family line why breastfeeding isn't an option. You don't believe how some mothers tried to talk me into breastfeeding and how bad formula would be for my baby. This was a crazy time. I'm so happy that my family totally backed me up because if I would have been alone I don't know how I would have taken all the mean words.
What's also very hard is not to get a lot of sleep and I actually really love sleeping. Anyways being a mother is a beautiful gift and I wouldn't wanna miss it!

Dear Bridget,
I'm really sorry for you but I'm happy that you have that great support system! It must be so hard when you are all alone in such situations! Actually can you recommend an organic formula? I'm breast feeding but find it very difficult and I'm thinking about switching to formula feeding. Not sleeping a lot doesn't bother me that much. It was way worse that our baby used to cry a lot and I was very insecure how to handle it! My husband was and still is also a great support! Stephanie

Hi Stephanie, thank you very much but as you mentioned I really have a great support system! We did use Lebenswert formula during the first two months and changed later to the Hipp organic formula. You can have a look on the ingredients and the different formulas on myorganicformula.com/collections/hipp-organic-formula. You can also always ask you paediatrician for a suggestion but I always do research on my own anyways. It's not that easy especially as a first time mum but we'll be great mothers, I assure you!
