Finally...after years of trials and LOTS of errors (ask my family about the year we had "hard-tack" with our Christmas dinner!! The recipe is here, about halfway down the page..... beecontentranch.blogspot.com/I learn things by the school of hard knocks, so it would seem.....if I could only figure out how to make computers do what I want them to do (and know they can, I just can't figure it out) why then...I would probably spend more time on here then I do!!!! See. God's hand...always at work!

I am so sorry, but the computer and I have had a knock out, drag out and I have somehow lost BeeContentRanch blog and posts! Without literally choking the computer ( I still think it is dial-up that is the issue), I gave up trying to retrieve anything, so I spent a few hours getting my other blog secure ( I think...better not blink, it night be gone too!) Here is the biscuit recipe I HAD posted...
Biscuits (Makes 5-6 biscuits. Can be doubled) 1 ¼ cups self-rising flour 1-teaspoon sugar ¼ teaspoon baking soda ¼ cup shortening Add 1 Tablespoon vinegar to ¾ cup milk
Preheat oven to 450. In medium bowl stir all ingredients together. Cut in shortening with fingers. Stir in milk/vinegar mixture into this, adding a bit more milk if necessary to make a loose dough. Place dough on a lightly floured surface, dust hands with flour and gently knead 4 times. Grab an egg-sized piece of dough, smooth into a ball and place in greased baking pan, gently touching sides together. Brush with melted butter. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
