I wasn't going to do this because I loose interest in journals but I will give it a shot March 23, 2006 Tim and I started our veges and some flowers Tuesday night...we have 3 full flats one is half forget-me-nots and half marigolds..the are a new marigold variety and they remind me of little beach balls! the next flat is half carrots half red beets....and the last is four brandywine tomatos, 4 grape tomatos, 4 beefmaster tomatos, 4 zucchini, 4 cukes, and 12 romaine lettuce..... we have snap peas that we will sow directly into the soil....we have to get onion sets and seed potatoes...Tim also wants to put in a row of corn...we did corn before and we didn't get much but it was good... We got the garden cleaned up and last Saturday Tim tilled it...it looks realy good...we took down the fence and it is getting painted white..... We still have to remove the willow bushes and do starts of them...my rose bushes are all alive...bulbs are coming up as are my tiger lillies, peonies, hostas, bleeding hearts, spiderwort....our lilacs look really well, we had lost one last year.... If only it would get warm ;D.....

Thanks Pat!!!...I think it will be busy too!!! March 24, 2006 Its snowing, well flurries, and still cold....we need rain...maybe this weekend... I went to the dollar store yesterday and got 7 bags of bulbs!...I couldn't believe they had such nice bulbs!!...I got 2 bags of purple Glads, 2 yellow glads, 2 of I'm not quite sure what they are, but they are white, and a bag of anemones....I also got 2 pairs of gardening gloves and a little sign that says welcome to my garden...oh and a spray bottle to mist my trays of seedlings.... When I was going through the rubble of the craft room, I found a garden journal I had bought, so I started it yesterday I think I am going on a search to find Bells of Ireland seeds tonight when dh gets home

Maybe I need to make a run over to the Dollar Store and see what's there. Sounds like you made out really well.
