I've started reading this book, by Susan Greenfield, after hearing her interviewed.

The author puts forward some interesting scenarios about how the world may change with the emergence of new technologies. I'm not sure I agree with everything she's suggesting, and the following critique is worth reading. It's a book worth reading, either way:
