Now that we all feel poor (Australia has compulsory superannuation, the bulk of which is invested in the share market) the icing on the cake is that expenses are set to rise substantially next year, including electricity.

I saw the look on dh's face yesterday when he got a letter from his superannuation fund.

Maybe that is the slightly stunned smilie? That doesn't quite describe it either.

I just paid a bill from our new to us house that we have owned since September? 2007. The off peak wasn't working and I noticed this. We had to get the electrician back, he had wired it wrong. We have the hot water on, and look forward to much cheaper bills!
