I appreciate all cross stitch freebies as Im an avid sticher. Been trying to do ornaments for my tree but am not finding the time lately to be able to stitch. There is a site in french that outs out a freebie each monday for Christmas echevette.over-blog.com/Click on "Cliquer ici pour la liste des grilles gratuites" at the top of the page, then search for "Les grilles du Lundi en préparation de Noël :" just under that will be the links to different heart shaped christmas designs. |

The samplers are very nice.
I have a photo of a sampler from the early 1800s. Have you seen some older ones? The designs are probably the same though.
