I love Shaker or Amish? But, no not that. Not sure exactly what you mean by the others, describe primitive a little, I most likely have seen it.

I am glad the bed will fit in. I found in one of my Country magazines today a website called www.cinnamoncountry.com and they have primitive and rustic giftware, so I will be able to see what it is like. I have been a big fan of primitive in the past. Not sure if it would just look like mess atm iykwim! I have one of those cows, was going to toss her but she is staying. The wallpaper border from the above site which is in my state in Australia, with the apple slices is cute for the hall, the girls would relate to that as they love making apple sauce. I love rosehips as it reminds me of walking along the country lanes between our properties when I was little.

Rustic or primitive is just as pictured on the two websites you listed for us braidedrug. Rusted items, items that are handmade and tea or coffee dyed to look old. Child like stitiched items. etc. Yes, Shaker and Amish are similar. Plain, simplistic, well made. etc.
Yes rosehips are very country as well as apples. My friend has her kitchen decorated with apples, rosehips and gingerbreads tossed in. LOL. She loved mine so added some to her kitchen. It is very cute. She also collects Raggedy dolls...primitive ones mostly. You should see her home.
I am going to post my gingers in a different thread.

At cinnamon.com I love the rusted seed packet pockets. Too cute. And the tile angel. Isn't she adorable.

Here is our room, or part of it. I didn't realise what a muddy color it is. I am going to use a brown frame for a photo soon.
