OK do you want our visions on this? or just ideas? if visions then here are mine:
Cars & Trucks: Colors: Primary , Red, Blue & Yellow Furniture: Wood grain Window treatments: solid color (Blue or red) Toppers over Plantaion blinds/ shutters Wall Color: Soft Blue Accessories: Lamp in shape of a truck, wooden cut outs (cars, trucks tractors, busses planes etc..) on the walls, Cars & Trucks knobs on the dressers.
Puppies: Stenceled would be really cute, you could do (in various spots) leashes, water bowls, paw prints, bones, a wooden fance with doggies "peeking over", dog heads, dog houses, etc...
I would again use a solid covered fabric over the blinds, I like plantation blinds because of the added privacy without losing all the light.
Puppy lamps, paws made of clay for the knobs on the dressers. How about a jungle theme? Or a woodsy theme ie back to nature, or bugs! all little boys like bugs! My personal favorite for a little boys room is ":sports" although every common you can make it unique! I made all of Daniels stuff when he was younger. Curtains were sheets (because I didn't know what a sewing machine was lol ) I took an old basketball net made a makeshift backboard and attached it to the wall it sat above a laundry hamper, You can buy the pennets at the craft store and embelish them the way you want them. Old baseballs, and other balls can be purchased rather inexpensively or just use dads! Goodwill had great old T-Shirts, some were framed, and some Mother sewed for me into pillows. Paint an old beanbag chair to look like a sports ball, wooden cutouts, clay knobs, an old coat rack (wooden one woth dowels on it) can be painted and mounted to a 1 x 6 and made into a really nifty coat hager for them.
Paint different murals on the walls, one of a football field, a baseball diamond, scoccer field, basketball court. The possibilities are endless. Let your imagination run WILD!!!

Western theme. I saw a cowboy themed nursery on HGTV and it was so cute. Done in plaids, bandana, and denim..

Outdoor themes like hunting or fishing. I saw a room redo in fishing. Too cool. Plastic boat paddles became the ceiling fan blades. An old wooden boat was modified and became the bed. It was way cool!
The cabin look is very popular here also.
My middle son has his room done in collegiate football (Georgia Bulldogs).
Little one loves motor sports and his room definitely reflects that!
