just on special occasions.
We have a small flag plaque that is up on the fence all the time.
We don't have a flag pole here but need one.
We do put up our banners around our porch on July 4.
And I have a yard ornament that is a little boy holding a real flag..

Our flag is proudly displayed on our front porch. We will be moving it soon so that it sits a bit higher on the house.

I had one growing up. Dad would fly it on all the flag flying holidays (I think the VFW has a schedule of those). I don't have a place to fly one at this house. Dh doesn't want to drill into the brick since we will sell this house in a few years.

We were amazed when dh first went to the States and saw the flags around the place. It is amazing. In Australia we have an unofficial flag as well. It is called the Eureka flag. www.ausflag.com.au/flags/eureka.htmlOur real flag has Britain's flag in the corner and a formation of stars added to it. We also have a flag for the Australian aboriginals or Kooris. It is red and black with a yellow dot in the middle.
