The one thing that I want now.........to replace the one I have..........is an old, or reproduction of a 1950's table and chair set with the chrome and colored formica top. You see, I just redid my kitchen and dining area into an old diner/soda shop! That is the last piece I need to finish the look. I made the valances of retro soda shop fabric. I just bought an 11X36" menu board that hangs over the bar with the old prices of malts, burgers and such on it........trimmed in red! I love the red in there, really warms it all up. I have two chrome bar stools with a diner pic. on the top and hot rod cars in front! Found those by accident at Pep Boys car center! I have an old brass cash register at the end of the counter next to my antique chrome pie display case. We found that in Prescott Arizona on a trip last month! It has fake pie sllices and other treats on antique dishes inside. Just love it. We really make milk shakes with our old Hamilton Beach 5 place soda maker from an old store. My garden window has all kinds of 50's stuff inside and fake ice cream deserts and banana split and little 50's cars, mineature diner ornaments etc. etc. Anyway, it is all decked out and even the counter juke box that is chrome that plays my 50's cassette tapes on it. I have a full size cardboard Juke box (5ft.) against the other wall and some of my real 45rpm records around it on the wall. Wow, it is so colorful and pretty. Would love a real one some day!! Anyway...........I'm playing and that is what I have going at the moment!

I'd love to see pics too Sparkle In answer to your question, Car, I would get a queen bedroom suite. We have been married for almost 11 yrs and still don't have a "real" bed.

A new dining room table and chairs! Done with a wrought Iron base (32 inches high), with a heavy oak wood top (46 In. ROUND!). The chairs would also be out of Wrought Iron but with Burgandy or Navy padded cushions.
Do you know how hard this table is to find? I have looked everywhere for one, so I may have to settle with one that is 30" high.

Definately a desk and file cabinet or bookshelves. We have mountains of paper work and we've outgrown our inexpensive "faux" wood hand me down.
