Oh alright it's not quite the right place, but I've finally managed to do the photobucket thing so thought I'd try and post a couple of pics. The calico and red stocking was my gorgeous Christmas swap from Br. The other photo is my meat safe with the stocking hanging on the door knob, next to it is my pot stand complete with old saucepans and the potholder Deed sent me in the Fall swap. Now it's all set up I shall try and take some of our area. The ones of the backyard are positively depressing, no wonder I want to move. It's a small, close to the city block, not much to see at all.   |

Sure is, Br. They're copies of old advertising posters, from the left it's Swallow & Ariel's biscuits, the center is C o ckatoo (wouldn't print that word without the spaces, it might be obscene to the internet filters but is in fact the name of a bird species here in Australia) Jams, and the one on the right is Foster's Lager, the only other poster they had at the shop.

Lovely Miss Violet. Glad you shared those pics with us. The pot holder is lovely autumn colours and the stocking is primitive which I love.
The beautiful piece you calling a meat safe, I believe is similiar to what we call a pie safe here in the states. Love it.
