Well the Williamson Family Computer Room/Office/Craft Room is in the process of a much needed face lift.
The walls are painted a nice muted white, and the back window wall has been wall-papered a nice navy and white plaid paper...*(reminder to self- NEVER put up plaid wall paper again...matching nightmare)* LOL
Dh began the task of cutting the pieces of wainscoting to put up on the bottom 1/3 of each wall. The wainscoting will be painted navy. Above the wainscoting we have a nice 2 1/4 inch fancy chair railing to put up. The railing will be painted barn red.
Above the railing will be the Americana border I chose. It is red white and blue with teddies, flag, apples, baskets and says God Bless America, Sweet Land of Liberty and the word Americana on it. Can't wait to finish it up. Of course after the walls are finished we have to lay the new hardwood flooring. We chose Pergo Signature line of flooring. The colour we chose is called Revere Oak. Can't wait to see it. The hardwood will extend out into the hallway as well. Big projects here. Course when finished I can hang up all the collection I have gathered of Americana Decor. Yippee.
Of course remodeling one room creates havoc in all the other areas of the house. We have a six inch walk space in the hall way, and there is *junk* stacked everywhere. Oh well. Progress!!
