Kitchen & Back Entry Pic* updated

Following on from the kitchen post with picture, here is one with the floor missing and the back entry. The entry has been the worry to me, but I believe it is on its way now. Materials have been delivered already.



There is daylight at the top, asbestos was removed. Around the door is shadecloth and fresh air, it was like that already. Above the door the ceiling is unlined at the moment, it is getting pine lining boards.

DH is trying to talk me into changing the door, not decided yet. It is a modern light colored door with white round handle. Window will be put in on the weekend.

The ceramic cooktop is sitting around the corner at the moment. Yes, the door nearly hits it.

We are getting glass in nearly the same design for around the door. I am not very imaginative, the reno for basic things has been a lot. We may recycle doors we have from our shed attic and things like that for the house in general, a couple anyway.

I am very happy the daylight has been replaced. Happy dance.

The ceiling has been lined and extended over that area. It is very interesting and nice. ;D

The kitchen floor is also able to be walked on now. The window is back in as well, dh did that on the weekend.

I didn't realise you could see the ceiling, would be interesting to take another photo.

I can't remember clearly, but I think with the door opening up the other way now, which the builder thought of I think, has freed up that space near the laundry door. There are very few spots for things in the house.
