You may remember me mentioning how this room has to be painted out. Now I am a little confused about what color would suit the fan.

This room was washed out mostly yesterday, still have the ceiling to do but needed the fan to stay cool. We are going to raise the height a little.
The color we thought was a Wattyl i.d. color, but it is actually Dulux, though it doesn't look like Dulux paint. The yellow was meant to go into a blue and white scheme with white/cream carpet which it had once.
It is called Swedish yellow.
We found it in the Dulux Colour Perfection square called Perfect Yellows.
I was going to change it to something like Camomile Cream, but dh likes the color, and I do too. The ceiling is a nice color as well, it is a shame they don't match each other better.
So I guess we have ended up with Moroccan?

I have talked to dh and we are going for a soft green.
It is Dulux Light Ceramic, it comes from the same yellow square I was talking about.
I have one wall covered with a cream old fashioned dresser, and have cream repainted chairs and table. I saw a photo in Australian Country Collections with a similar look with lots of green Depression glass fairly recently. I put the color green near the furniture and was happier with the effect than with the brighter yellow.

The color scheme you've decided on sounds lovely, Br. I personally find a strong yellow hard to live with, whereas the green with your cream furniture sounds very calming.
