Any buyers of the new Carpet Flick by Swiffer? Reviews please. If you haven't bought one and are thinking of doing so you can get a 3$ off coupon from www.swiffer.com

I've got one of those carpet sweepers with the brush in it and I don't see myself replacing it any time soon. I am curious as to how well made those things are. I like the idea of all the dirt being stuck to that paper, but I don't like the thought of having to buy refiills.

I was debating on whether or not to buy one and see how well it works.

I am a gadget-aholic so I have been wanting to get one and the vacuum swiffer too. I have so far restrained myself but with a good enough coupon, I know my willpower will be out the window, LOL.

You know gals, I was thinking about all of these gadgets that we buy to *help* us. I think I have discovered that there is nothing like a good old fashioned string mop to clean your floors. And a little elbow grease with it. You know if I was able physically I would still be cleaning my floors on my hands and knees with a bucket of hot water with a little soap, a tad of bleach and a scrub brush.

I think you are onto something there, Carolyn. Now I do use my clorox mop for quick cleanups. But nothing beats a good old back breaking mopping. I clean the bathroom floors by using the dry clorox mop and then on my hands and knees I go with a bucket of hot water and pine sol. It just feels cleaner and looks so much better to me. I dry it with an old towel as I go. It is very tiring, but I love the end result.
