• First of all you need an account at a photo hosting site. I like www.photobucket.com You can sign up for a FREE account and it is very easy to use. • You might also want a resizing program, where you can crop, edit, rotate etc... the picture you want to post. www.irfanview.com is FREE to download, and very easy to use. Okay, here we go! • Open up your IrfanView program and edit your picture however you want to. Don't forget to SAVE it on your hard drive in a place you will remember. • Now go to your FREE Photobucket account you created, and click on BROWSE. • Find your picture you want to share with us, (where you saved it on your hard drive) and click on it. The path to your picture will now be filled in for you in the 'Picture' box. • Next you may fill in the 'Tag or Title' box. You don't have to, it is optional. • Click on SubmitYour picture has now been uploaded to your Photobucket account! Now to place your picture in your post here at Hearth and Home. • Type up your post. • Go to your Photobucket account and under the picture you want to share are 3 boxes with file paths in them. You want to copy and paste the Img one (last one) into your post. Here is your picture! What do you think, pretty easy huh? ;D

I forgot to tell you all, that once you post a picture from your Photobucket account, you must leave it there. If you delete it or change it in any way (i.e. resize it), it won't show up here on the forums anymore.

I use irfanview to resize the photos for posting. I click on the file icon to find the pictures I want to resize. Click image, then resize/resample. DH worked out the numbers to put in, the largest 650 I think and dpi 200. Then click OK. Then click file and save as, name your picture, and find where you want to save it and save.
You can post un resized pictures here if you wish to get you started.
