Today I took away two grocery shopping bags to the op-shop and have another one ready to go.

Hey thats great. We have a large trash day once a month where people can put out whatever they want to get rid of. furniture, etc. People make a habit of going through everyones garbage that day and take what they want. We don't have thrift stores here in France except one that I know of that is kind of far. We cannot have garage sales here either. So I have been known to "throw away" some really good stuff.

I'm not sure where the one to go went. It will turn up.
Today dd4 helped me sort out the bath toys. dh washed the ceiling on the weekend, which we may paint soon, and he washed the floor and the toys. dd chose which ones she wanted to keep, and put some other toys away. Then we took half a small box away to the op-shop and came home with some much needed old jeans for dh to work around the house in.
cupcake I couldn't beleive that people put things outside like that, I saw it first on TV I think. I have seen it on the roadsides at our regional centre where all the good shops are. We have a lovely tip or dump and can find great things there.
I don't usually go to garage sales, but we figure if the op-shop and the tip are good maybe the garage sales are fantastic. Maybe we will make an effort to go to one. Our neighbour did have one before they moved and the kids enjoyed that.
It all varies alot doesn't it?

I found the lost bag, forgot to take it today.
Today, sadly I took my teatree bassinette mattress to the op-shop. I figure it should be used and not kept. I needed the room in the linen press to store blankets. I am still impressed with my efforts in the linen press, I am enjoying it.
