Your spring /summer comforter or quilts. Do you have them dry cleaned first? or do you hang them out to airout?
Then how do you store them? Do you use heavy plastic bags (the kind that suck the air out) or in the Cedar chest?

I never buy a quilt or comforter that would have to be dry cleaned. Unless I used the Dryell system on it in my dryer. I think dry cleaning bills are outrageous and one of the things I can eliminate from our budget.
That said, my quilts are hung outside occasionally to air out, and then once a year they are washed in the washer. Now these quilts I am talking about are not old or family heirloom quilts. I know with those I would only spot clean.

Oops and if I were to store them I would put them in my cedar chest.
