Everybody has a laundry secret or two...what's yours? Do yo have a tip on how to get out that stain or make ironing easier?
Let's get a thread going here......
My tip is getting pen out of DH's white church shirt! I took hydrogen peroxide (the kind ya use on yer boo-boos, not the kind for dyeing hair!) and soaked an ear cleaner with it and rubbed the pen lines. I let it set a few minutes and did it again. Seeing as it lifted most of the pen out, I rinsed it in cold water and then re-washed in, rubbing a little laundry detergent into the stain. It was gone when I took it out!
This won't work on colors as the peroxide will leave a whitened spot and then...well...you get to use it for a chore shirt
