Will any of you be attending Family Reunions this year? IF so where will you travel to? What games will you play?
Our family reunion is usually on Mother's Day. We all went to a nice park and had a cookout got to spend time with some of the family. When you have 2 families to visit with on one side of the family it reall makes it hard.
How about you?

Well I'll be attending if I get my butt in gear and start organizing it. I've been meaning to email my cousin who has offered to help me and keep forgetting to.

My family use to have one every year on the 4th of July, and we would have 30-40 people come to Gramy & Grampy house for the celebration. We had a gigantic cook out with everything you could possibly dream of to eat ;D Us kids would hang out and always did something to get in trouble over . Oh how I miss those days, of family gatherings and letting loose.

No, we haven't had a family reunion in years....and to be honest I don't miss them...on my mother's side, we are like 75 people at least in these reunions and usually they were organised on New Year's Day and most of the time, the souvenirs I have of these reunions are uncles who are drunk, lots of smoke and lots of noise...and in the last years...it was drunken uncles and cousins....sigh...so the last one, which was like 6 years ago, was our last...and I was thankful for that--I didn't want my boys seeing all that drinking....
We do visit, though with our cousins, who we feel comfortable with--those who don't drink beyond no limits, kwim?.....

My family never has one..Well at least not my immediate family. But dh's family use to have one very year..more of the same that you described Lucie..They stopped haging them a couple years ago and I have to say I am just as glad.
I do miss the ones we use to have as a child though. Each summer my parents would send us to Maryland to our grandmother's for the summer. In early August they would come get us and we would have a double reunion, with both my mom's family and my dad's..it was awesome fun..
