I don't have much from my childhood. My mom gave everything to my younger cousins as I grew up... I have managed to save this.... I always wish my mother would have kept my fist Barbie (I had 2 only) and my Thumblina doll....those were my most precious toys.... a small plastic Mary given to me from my grandmother (my dad's mom) a broken plastic Mary from my other grandmother... a broken plastic fan with religous images from my grandmother ...and a few cards, letters and autograph book from my grade school and early highschool. Oh yes, I have my grade school yearbook too. That's all.

Thumbalina sounds very precious.
1. My Susie doll.
2. My Betty doll, they were their names.
3. Like Lucie I miss a teddy that was thrown out. My doll's clothes.
4. I also miss my Little House books but bought them back on ebay. I have some other books, we got them back from my cousins I think.
5. A little lamp.
6. A box of lace that was actually Mums.
7. I had some lovely tulle dressups, they are gone. I have some cards. My sewing box. A few other things.

1. Lucie! I've got my Thumbelina doll still too! The poor thing had an extreme makeover many years ago when here hair was all but gone - they gave her glamorous hair that looks awful. 2. The teddy bear I was given at age 1 3. A brooch my paternal Grandmother gave me as a small child 4. The remnants of a tiny bracelet from my paternal Grandmother 5. A Jerry doll (actually, that's what I called it, it's a ventroloquist's doll, a boy) 6. My birth certificate 7. A very small, knitted dress that belonged to me as a baby. There are a few report cards and a year book floating around somewhere too. Didn't keep much else as we moved so much, whatever we kept had to be small. My kids loved playing with both Thumbelina (dressed in my baby dress) and Jerry (or was it Gerry?) when they were young. Cute thread, Br.
