Well since I am *lost in the fifties tonight*...I look at R and R much different than you all do.

I like both of them ;D But I would have to say my all time favorite Rock & Roll artist or group would have to be Bob Segar.

Fave all time rock and roller? Elvis. Lots of fond childhood/adolescent memories of listenign to his music and having uncles sing it to me/us, and hours upon hours of 'playing guitar' and listening to 45s with my cousin. The purity of his voice on the ballads such as "Crying in the Chapel" still get to me, and although I'm not a dancer by any means, I can't help but dance through the house if I'm listening to several of his songs.
Fave song? "In My Life" by the Beatles/Lennon. Excellent song.

I don't like the older records as much as I used to. My husband knows all the names of the bands.
A little red haired boy sang a song by the Straubs (sp?) on Rock School the other day. It was a show where Gene Simmons? taught some English kids how to be rockers.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! LOL Whoever thought of KISS as child-friendly?! All that makeup!
Which reminds me...my niece has asked for her Christmas present to be...clowns. She seems to be into collecting little figurine type things and took a bit of pride in saying that her brother, young uncle, and friend are all scared of clowns, but she's not...
