YES!!!! I sang to them before they were born, I also danced with them when they were babies. I let them listen to whichever type of music they chose. I encourage Daniel to continue playing his guitar even when it's not so great, or something that I don't care to listen to.

Oh yes, they love music here and since they are small we have been singing to them and playing all kinds of music to them. Pierre, their dad, plays guitare, so no need to say that the oplder 3 have been starting to play a few years ago, each at their rythym. Patrick is also starting to show interest in the guitare....

YES! My folks always seemed to have music playing as I grew up, either records, or the radio was playing. When I was five years old, my folks got me my first little transitor radio, only recieved AM stations. I played it all the time, listening to a local country station I could receive. Lots of fun memories of that little radio!

Our daughter 11, has been playing the guitar at the expense of her piano and clarinet practise for a few months now. Last night I noticed that she is quite good. She is good at the others too, but losing interest.
I started our eldest on piano at about 8, and when money got tight he gave up. So I try to keep to it if I start the others now. I have another boy learning as well. He did very well on the one exam he did, but doesn't practise much these days, he is 14.
Their Dad says we should listen to more records that we have. I did notice ballet was good for music because over the time they learn alot of the music.
