"Knock 3 times" ?
I was listening to it tonight on the way home from class, and realized that the song never says what her answer was? What do you think?

That's the one, although I think some of the lyrics are slightly different.
No idea what the girl's response was though-- now I'll wonder about it all night. . . did she knock 3 times, or do the twice on the pipes?

Yup, loved watching the ole "Tony Orlando and Dawn" show...loved when they did that song.

We don't rent them, but dh just bought Gilligan's Island- the first 10 episodes, and we have on DVD- Roy Rogers shows, The Dick Van **** show, Dragnet, The Andy Griffith Show, and a few others.

Great song. I think maybe Billy "Crash" Craddock did a version of it? I know he did "Til the Water Stops Running" which I may be confusing with this one, too. Love ol' Billy. :-)
