What a musical family you all are Lynn. Anyone sing?
No singers here except for Lori, our oldest dd. She has a beautiful voice! She sang at her dh's retirement from the AF. It as awesome.

DH can play the trumpet a little, he is self taught. DS#1 learnt piano for a little while, I don't think he could play now, but you never know. I can play piano and guitar but don't.
DS#2 plays piano, sang in a choir with a proper choir master and church organ for 18 months, he was to be a leader but we moved for work. He also can play trumpet styled instruments and can get something out of the guitar without learning.
DD#1 plays piano and clarinet. They asked her to be in the school band but she didn't want to and doesn't want to play those two instruments this year, just guitar, which she plays quite well.
DD#2 just started learning the recorder. This year she hopes to take up piano as the other two are not learning this year, it depends on the teacher, there are not too many here.
DS#2 got honors in Melbourne for piano once, but he was a bit of a handful to teach apparently. His examiner said to keep going and I had visions of the conservatory but he has other ideas, but I am OK with that now.

You have a talented bunch, BR.
Yes, Car, I sang with a Christian group for a few years. I sang lead, backups, alto harmony parts. I've done cantatas, weddings and funerals. Done lots of praise and worship also.
Now you know why we are such music freaks here. lol

I just knew that you sang Lynn. I would love to hear you sometime.
Thanks br, Lori has such a lovely voice but for year's didn't let us know. I love hearing her sing to her babies.
She sang hymns to my mom when mom was very ill. It was so sweet!

I would love to hear her, Car.
Music is such a beautiful gift......I too sang to my granny and held her hand as she drew her very last breath....it was one of those life changing moments for me. I still cry when I think about it and she's been gone for nearly 2 years.

Daniel is lead vocals and Lead guitar in his band and sound pretty good if I do say so myself. I ing but not much because I don't think I sound right but everyone else says it sounds pretty good (I think they just don't want to hurt my feelings! ;D ;D)

Ellise, I bet you sounds lovely. If Don doesn't have any musical talent the children got it from someone. Bet it was YOU.

I play the piano. I love to sing as well. Katie wants to learn to play the piano. Amanda, at 4, can hear a song once and have the tune and a lot of the words down pat. I keep hoping they'll be famous and support their old mom and dad - LOL!

I love it when small children sing Cheryl. Do you think the girls would mind to support their Auntie Carolyn too???

I sing to the radio, does that count? In Jack's younger days, he and his friends had a band and he was the lead singer. They traveled all over the east coast and preformed at bars and such. It was pretty much all 50's type music.
