No, I have, but dd#1 and her family have. They loved it as well. I don't go to the movie theatre, I usually wait until things come out on dvd.

We went on Monday-- I agree, it was fantastic! I was all set to be disappointed, but it surprised me, in how good it was.

Ahem! <chest swells with pride> Filmed partly in Canterbury, where I live! More specifically, on Flock Hill, which I drove past the other day (in the mountains) - that is one gorgeous area - have always loved that area, Broken River, Cass Valley, etc. Anyway, any 'real' mountain scenery you see in the movie, which I haven't seen yet, is likely to be very near my home!

DH and I just went this past weekend, made a date of it. Had a huge bucket of popcorn and soda....and we just loved the movie! I knew it would be good, but we both enjoyed it much more than we even expected to, and the scenery is awesome!

no I haven't...I wasn't planning on seeing it, but with the great comments, I will probably see it either at the movies with the kids or rent the dvd when it comes out.

We saw it before Christmas. I was a little worried about taking Amanda, but aside from the wolves she loved it too! One of our local churches held a couple of workshops for the kids before it came out. They had one at the library and I signed Katie up to go to it. They talked about all the books and each kid got a copy of The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe and a movie poster. Since it was the library they didn't talk about the Christian connections, but they did give each child an activity book showing the parallels.
