I saw in one of Lynn's posts that she is watching A.I. Kathryn and I have been watching it too this season.
Who do you like so far? I really like Chris for the men, and I'm not sure who I like yet for the women.

Yup, I'm watching it! Just love the beginning shows where all the wannabe's try out, some of them are really something!
I like Paris Bennet for the gals, and I like Kevin for the boys, so he don't have the greatest of the voices...but he is geeky and adorable, so I root for him!

I was glad to see her go too, Lynn.
My favorites right now: Chris, Katharyn, Taylor, and Paris...I like Mandesa too. I've never watched AI for the whole season so I'm wondering if I would always like this many of the contestants, or if there is just really good talent this season.

Chris is my fav male. Katherine is my fav female. She has stage presence, is photogenic and beautiful to boot.....Idol material....if she can make good song choices. I was sorry to see Mandisa go. But the last coupla performances weren't that good. So I wasn't surprised to see her voted off. She was so gracious and kind, even in leaving.

Taylor Hicks won, Katherine McPhee was the runner up, and Chris Daughtry (sp?) came in third.

I think Taylor does, but I'm not sure. All three of them have record deals/offers. Right now they are touring (not sure who tours, but some of the AI contestants go on tour giving concerts all around the country). They were just here--in New England--last week or the week before. People were disappointed that Katherine wasn't there--she has laryngitis (sp) and was advised by a dr. not to even talk, let alone sing.

I think Elliot Yamin (not sure I spelled that right) came in 3rd. Chris was in fourth.
I have a friend whose daughter wanted to see AI on tour this summer. Tickets were $178. Not sure if she went or not.
