Austar

We are trying out Austar. One of the drawcards was that I was told that Hallmark have the Love Comes Softly series. I haven't seen it on their website though. Hallmark is not part of the basic package.

I did notice a couple of interesting channels in the basic package.


The Australian Christian channel that has kids programming:

and the country music channel:

Both sound nice. I hope I read the writing correctly, it was very small.

I really had no intention of having Austar, just couldn't really find a good excuse for the sales lady.

One of the things I was concerned about was the instalation. It turned out really well. They put the dish on the back of the house. The piece they put on the wall inside, I haven't even seen. The men were very nice.

In the TV guide I found Love Comes Softly in the alphabetical listing. I also found Sarah, Straight and Tall and there is another the same called Winters End.

You can use a pin number and unblock out anything over age 15 if you like. It works easily. We set it up that you have to use the pin, you don't have to.
