This is another movie based on a series of books by Janette Oke called Love Comes Softly.

I beleive that there are about 4 movies two based on Marty's life and two on Missy's life. I haven't checked that out further as yet.

I have seen one of each so far.

Love's Long Journey is about Marty's step daughter Missy and her husband Willy who go out West together.

It was a lovely movie, but not as family friendly as Love Comes Softly. It was OK, but maybe a little much for children around the 5 age group because of a shooting.

I have since watched Love's Enduring Promise. It didn't have any shootings although it was sad and talked about accidents and exposure to the cold and the harshness of it.

This next month I see the final one as far as I am aware, on the Hallmark channel on the 20th and 21st August. It is called Love's Abiding Joy. Clark goes to visit Missy and Willy.
